Our editorial policy
Affiliate relationships do not influence the content of our reviews, ratings, scores, or recommendations. These standards apply regardless of commercial relationship.
What we hold to
- Tools are evaluated using the same methodology whether or not an affiliate programme exists.
- Negative aspects of tools are reported honestly, including for tools we earn commission on.
- Reviews regularly recommend against tools we earn from, and in favour of tools we earn nothing from.
- We do not accept payment to write positive reviews or inflate scores.
- We do not accept payment to exclude negative information from reviews.
- Featured placements and sponsored content are clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial reviews.
Where the commercial incentive is uneven — for example, when one tool in a comparison pays a commission and its competitor does not — that imbalance is stated in the article itself, not just here.
